The literal meaning of automotive diagnosis as described above can further mean in more realistic term; the use of various automotive detecting equipments, to troubleshoot and identify problems associated with motor cars. In previous years automotive technicians proffered solutions to many car repair questions from just assessing the symptoms related to motor cars and then giving the customers professional advice from a large knowledge base of past experience. But with advent of modern diagnostic equipment, automotives can better be analyzed using more precise analytic process.

MINI IMPORTATION: MUST READ

I have heard so many people talk about selling an eBook for mini importation, that’s when I resolved to a write a short but very comprehensive piece about mini importation.

Mini importation is not as difficult as people make it look. In fact what people call mini importation, is online shopping in ordinary terms. It is synonymous to buying from konga.com or jumia.com. The only thing that makes us call this one importation is because in this case; the shop you are buying from is not in this country it might even be from outside Africa. To become a good mini importer, all you need to do is to follow these steps.

1. Know what you want: this is very important, but a lot of people fail to recognize this fact and then they fail into problems during transactions. Online shopping companies at all times provides us with a large pool of goods in whatever area you are interested in. If you are not specific on what you want from a particular shopping company, you might end up getting confused and at the end you lose your money –because you paid for what you don’t like.

2. Check the description: do not be in a hurry to add a particular item to your shopping cart without first checking the description. Many online shopping companies have short description for any item that is up for sale. When next you are surfing for an item you need in a shopping site, please try and check its description and be convinced that this is actually what you want to buy.

3. Build a relationship with the seller: This is very important step in purchasing goods online. Many a time people make the mistake of paying for a product without making necessary inquiries from the supplier about the product. And at the end they fall for fake goods or a fake supplier. Whenever you want to buy a particular product, it is paramount that you establish a strong relationship, between you and the supplier. You can achieve this by either calling his mobile or sending him messages through the online shopping site. Note that not all shopping site accepts a third party payment, some of them sell goods directly to the buyer. Whenever you are in a site that sells directly to its customer, try and read its agreement before sale. In this agreement, there is a provision that gives you a specific amount of time to access the goods before accepting it. For those other sites that allows third party payment, please make sure you request to pay through third party. Third party payment allows you to inspect the item on sale before finalizing the deal. So be wise!

4. Bargaining: as a business man or woman you are most interested in maximizing profits, so you should be looking for a place where you can get items at the most reduced cost. It is not bad to bargain. When you see the price for a particular product, don’t just rush to place an order without bargaining with the seller. Make sure the price you are getting such product is the cheapest you can find. Other business men or women likes those who bargain, it shows that the person understand what business is. So, don’t be afraid. Bargain!

5. Shipping: this is the last and most vital step. No matter how smart you have been in the market, if you goods do not get to you, then you have not made any reasonable transaction. Yes, you can meet your supplier for the shipping details available. I will still try to throw more light on the shipping requirements. UPS covers so many places, but it is very expensive to ship with, so be careful. DHL does not cover many areas, but in case you location is included in places it can ship to; DHL is cheaper and also fast. Both UPS and DHL do not take more than three days before one receive his parcel. China post is the cheapest to ship with, but it takes up to 30 days for one to receive his parcel. If you are buying from china you can consider using shipping companies like CHRISVICMALL INTERNATIONAL, you can pay in naira, it is cheap to ship through them and you parcel would take just about 7 days to get to you. If you are buying from the U.S you can buy from CIRCUIT ATLANTIC, they buy goods for you from whichever online shopping company, then they add the cost of shipping to the cost of goods and they deliver goods in 7 days also; moreover you can pay in naira.

Online shopping companies you can import from.

www.aliexpress.com: they act as a third party agent between the buyer and the supplier. This is where you get Chinese product at its cheapest rate. You can also get products from other countries, but it might not be as cheap as Chinese product.

www.amazon.com: they sell all variety of goods from electronics to books both old and new. But they are cheaper for American products.

www.ebay.com: eBay is an online auction site, they specialize in auctioning, and so to make purchase from them you would have to carefully study its auction market.

www.dhgate.com : this site is very similar to the aliexpress.com; it operates like aliexpress and has all the features of aliexpress.

www.ipmart.com this site mainly sell phone, it is easy to use and offers very cheap products.

They are numerous online shopping sites, available in every part of the world, though I always advise people to stick with the one that works for them. Thanks

THE NIGERIAN 3: WHO IS A NIGERIAN POLITICIAN?

Normally, a politician is said to be that person that is actively engaged in politics especially an elected or appointed government official. Usually the Nigerian definition for terms is always different from that of other societies. So in Nigeria, a politician is any person that is involved in politics. It is important to note the difference in adjectives while in other societies a politician is actively engaged in politics, in Nigeria any person involved in politics is called a politician. In other words Nigerians calls the driver of a senator a politician and the funny thing is that the senators driver meet his friends and try to teach them how politics is been run in the country, even though the driver has never won in any elections –he is just a common driver. But then the surprising thing is that those people the driver teach politics, will accept his political theory and then a wise person among them would ask, why has he not contested any elections? Then others would say something like: he does not have money –forgetting that elections are sponsored by other individuals not even the contestant; then another would say he is just not lucky –without considering the fact that there is only a very minimal element of luck in an election; now the third person would say that he is godly and don’t want to get involved in the difficult spiritual process during elections –and then everyone would agree with him; Why? –Nigerians are very religious but slightly spiritual. Now, we also have another group of Nigerians who are actively engaged in Nigerian politics. That particular group of Nigerians is the real Nigerian politician. The problem is that, this group is very small compared to the total number of people we have in the country. Imagine in Nigeria a person can be representing a senatorial district for more than 20 years, then I begin to wonder if that person is the wisest person in the community –and you know what trips me; for the 20 years that person might be a senator, many times you would see that the senatorial district is lacking any kind of serious development. But then they are always voted back into government. Look at me talking about voted back into government –they do not need any body’s vote to become senators, all they need to do is to put their political machineries together and then as usual they win the elections. So these groups of people are the ones called the actual Nigerian politician and they are very few. Visit www.emmyjoach.blogspot.com to get more on THE NIGERIAN series.

POVERTY

Poverty is defined as the quality or state of being poor or in need; want or scarcity of means of existence, indigence, need. From the definition above, poverty deals with the scarcity of needs that is necessary for existence. Need means a requirement for something. So I am right when I say that, poverty means a scarcity of the requirement for existence. But we all know that the requirements for existence are a summation of many factors. Though, poverty in our present society is always synonymous with financial poverty. Poverty only means being financially broke. Poverty covers a wide range of areas, some of those areas even worse than our finances. When someone is spiritual poor, it is a big problem for whoever is in that position. No doubt spiritual poverty is worse than financial poverty –because the spiritual life is one of the most fundamental elements of existence. I would like to share a story; I was watching a movie recently and in that movie there was a mafia, he and his boys were in the battle field fighting another gang. Then he said something to his boys; he said “it is better to die a rich man than to die a poor man” and I said to myself that it is obvious the man does not know the definition of poverty, because if he did; he would know that he is very poor. Let me tell you how. He is suffering from poor rest, which makes him a poor man rest wise. He is also suffering from emotional poverty, because he hardly has time for his emotional life, all he can do is to always temporarily satisfy his emotional needs by using various vices like prostitutes, increasing his ego –by indiscriminate killing of innocent people. For instance if he kills someone that did not obey his instructions, he begins to feel inside of him that he is the boss –but everybody knows he is boss; yes, people know even he himself knows he is the boss. But he is afraid of losing his position, and so to fight this fear he does something big something convincing, something that confirms him a boss –this means that he lacks confidence and so he is poor in confidence. NIGERIA EDUCATION

In other societies, education is the process or art of imparting knowledge, skill and judgments. But in
Nigeria education is far from that; In Nigeria, education is the process of going through the four walls of an institution in other to obtain certification in a particular discipline, so that at the end one can be gainfully employed by a multinational company in Nigeria. From the Nigerian definition of education, it is clear that the actual reason why education institutions were set up has been defeated. People only go to school just to acquire certificates, without caring about getting the knowledge. Then when you talk about knowledge they will laugh at you and say something like “knowledge, who cares about what you know in Nigeria, the only thing you need in this country is contact” but you can’t blame them, the dubious nature of government officials during recruitment exercises, has made many people loss faith in government recruitment process. Furthermore, prior to this time, Nigeria mostly had government controlled establishments which means that government provided majority of the employment. Another thing that seriously contributed to this problem is the fact that government of the past made it almost a must that whoever graduates from the higher institution is already sure of a good paying job. Making education a sure path for employment –though they did it then because Nigeria lacked manpower, now things have changed but the mindset Nigerians have about job and education has not changed.

Apart from employment, the institutions in charge of training young Nigerians have also failed in their responsibility, why? –the obvious reason being the lack of funds. When we say lack of funds, it is not as if we are expecting government to start funding the numerous institutions it owns. No! The government cannot do that because of the exorbitant funds involved in funding each of such institution. It is high time for our institutions management to start sourcing for funds on their own instead of waiting for the government. When I say source for funds, I am not saying that the schools must task student and add to student tuition. NO! What I mean is that the school should bring their entire intellectual asset together, so that they can generate funds through creative means.
Presently though with the growth of private sector, Nigerians would in the nearest future, would be forced to getting knowledge and not just passing through the four walls of the higher institution. Why! This is because the private sector, is a profit oriented sector and so do not really care about whoever you know. What they after is what you can do. Even if you have a very strong contact, you must still know 60% of what you are doing.
Though the system is bad now, but with the way things are going, it is clear that the education system would definitely improve. So Nigerians wake up. For more visit www.emmyjoach.blogspot.com

RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY

Religion is any practice that someone or a group is seriously devoted to, while spirituality is a state of being spiritual. Now spiritual means anything pertaining to the spirit or the soul. The sole reason why religious organization was created is to make sure its members get spiritually uplifted. But today many of our spiritual groups have completely forgotten why there was religion in the first place. What we call religion today, is just the gathering of a group of people that posse’ similar temperaments, and abide by a common code of conduct. These days’ things of the soul are rapidly losing relevance while material things are seriously becoming more relevant. Now religious institutions are more concerned with the physical structures they can see and the amount of money in their bank accounts. Some religious organization, would claim to be spiritual not material but they don’t care to fully understand what it means to be spiritual, at the end they make a grievous mistake –they make the mistake of replacing religionism for spirituality. How do they do that? Such organizations are always concerned with the outward appearance of its members; they always appear to love themselves, they always religious to a particular doctrine –if you don’t follow their doctrine they would say that you are a sinner, an unbeliever and some of them even present themselves like angels on earth –but we know they are far from that, in any case we would honor them like angels; because we don’t want them to insult us and call us all sort of names. At the end they religious groups forget a very vital point – they forget that spirituality is about the inward life, not the outward appearance. There is another group of people. These group like deism and church of scientology, seems to be just perfect, from all of their publications you see them throwing more light on spiritual growth than material things. They dig out faults in other groups and then make efforts to correct such flaws. But they forget what the Christian bible says about removing the stick in your neighbors’ eyes instead of paying attention to the log of wood in your own eyes. From every indication, it is clear that none of the religious bodies can exempt herself from this terrible mistake of replacing religion for spirituality. Please let us note the difference.
